Floor Candy creates luxury designer rugs and contemporary floor coverings. They source quality materials from around the world to make their rugs soft and durable. Each piece in their collection has been designed exclusively by up and coming UK designers.
I was commissioned to design a visual identity for Floor Candy that works over multiple platforms including press, promotional leaflets and web advertising. A bold and simple stencil logotype was designed that could be applied over any piece of promotional material without getting lost in patterned designs.
In the monogram, a subtle reference to candy canes is used to divide the lettering. To further reference the ‘candy’ theme, a diverse colour palette was provided that also supports the nature of the identity being used online and offline. A set of brand guidelines were produced to aid brand consistency when working with 3rd party suppliers.
